SUMMARY:Autumn Equinox 2021
DESCRIPTION:Our Autumn Equinox is a rite of balance and the second harvest as Autumn gets into full swing with the Earth growing colder. \nOur beautiful summer weather has begun to turn\, and winter is on its way. When Kore was abducted by Hades\, Her mother Demeter allowed all plant life to wither and die\, just as our winter is a time of quiet and death. \nBut this is also a story of rebirth\, and the great cycle of life. \nWe will not be holding a public rite for the Equinox this year\, thanks to Covid-19\, but you may watch a video of this ritual on YouTube at: \nhttps://youtu.be/wxa4Uurcbis \nBlessings\,\nRev. Kirk Thomas

SUMMARY:Autumn Equinox Ritual in the Stone Circle
DESCRIPTION:This ritual has been cancelled this year due to the Covid 19 Pandemic. \nThis is a rite of balance and the second harvest as Autumn gets into full swing with the Earth growing colder. Our beautiful summer weather has begun to turn\, and winter is on its way. When Kore was abducted by Hades\, Her mother Demeter allowed all plant life to wither and die\, just as our winter is a time of quiet and death. But this is also a story of rebirth\, and the great cycle of life. \nWe will hold this rite outdoors in the stone circle. We will be honoring the Goddesses Demeter and Kore (later known as Persephone) at this rite. Appropriate offerings include produce from your garden\, wine\, pomegranates\, barley products\, beer\, oil\, etc. As always\, praise offerings of song\, poetry\, dance\, etc. are always welcome. \nThe temperature will drop at sunset\, though\, so be sure to dress warmly and wear layers. \nThere will be a potluck following the ritual\, held in the main house. \nWe look forward to seeing you here on Saturday the 26th!

SUMMARY:Lughnasadh Ritual in the Stone Circle
DESCRIPTION:Due to Covid-19\, we have to cancel our Lughnasadh Ritual for August 1\, 2020. However\, Rev. Kirk has performed a Lughnasadh Ritual for the camera and it is available to be seen at https://youtu.be/HPUlyjKt4XQ. Happy Lughnasadh\, everyone\, and may we all be well and happy! \nThis is the rite of the Sovereignty of Lugh Samildanach. He manages this through the good offices of the Goddess of Sovereignty here in Trout Lake\, the Lady of the White Salmon. This is also a rite of the harvest as our crops begin to ripen and the fruits of our labors are available to us all.

SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Ritual in the Stone Circle
DESCRIPTION:We will be celebrating the Feast of the Summer Solstice virtually this year via Zoom. It will be held on Sunday\, June 28\, 2020 beginning at 5:00 pm. Duci bieto! \nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/j/86506166727 \nAttendees will first find themselves in the ‘Lobby’ where they will be vetted before being admitted to the ritual. \nPlease have a beverage ready for the Blessings. \nWe will be honoring the God Taranis\, Lord of Thunder and Storms\, to ask for a forest-fire free summer. And we will honor the Goddess Sulis\, Lady of the Sun and heated waters of the Earth. \nWe will be placing our prayers in the Wicker Man. The Man will be burned in the rite\, sending our prayers and entreaties up into the heavens. Inside the Man are a number of blank pieces of paper. Decide what you want to say or pray and then you will be given a chance to magically send your prayer into one of the blank papers. \nIf you wish to also make offerings at home\, appropriate offerings for both Taranis and Sulis include small images of wheels and solar chariots\, alcoholic drinks (such as whiskey\, wine\, beer\, mead\, or cider)\, and food. Flowers from your garden might also be an appropriate offering for Sulis. People will be given a chance to speak during the Praise Offerings section of the rite. \nWe look forward to seeing you on Sunday\, June 28!
