Calan Haf (Beltane) 2025
We will be celebrating Calan Haf at Trout Lake Abbey on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 5:30 pm. We are starting early so that we may dance the Maypole in the light. This will be a Welsh pantheon rite. Bydded Felly! This is the rite of the beginnings of summer, of fertility, and of green and growing things. Â It is said that in medieval days, folks would go out into the woods and lay with whomever they came across. Welcome to the lusty month of May!
