We will be celebrating the Winter Solstice at Trout Lake Abbey on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 3:30 pm. This will be a Welsh pantheon rite. Bydded felly!

This is the rite of the longest night, and of the Return of the Sun.

We will be honoring the deities Lleu Llaw Gyffes and His uncle, Gwydion. Appropriate offerings for Lleu include whiskey, images of eagles or other birds, oil or butter. Offerings for Gwydion include whiskey, magical items, songs or poetry. As always, praise offerings are always welcome.

We will hold this rite indoors in the Sanctuary.  The room is heated but do dress warmly for the procession and be prepared to walk in the snow, should there still be any.

There will be a potluck following the ritual, held in the Fireside Room in the main house.

We look forward to seeing you here on Saturday, 22 December!
